Jennifer Tilly is a Los Angeles native who was born in poor conditions in September 16th, 1958. Her mother was an unsuccessful teacher and actor, was a salesperson for cars while her dad was an auto salesman. Jennifer, second in a family of four children she was frequently at the theater performances of her mother and was was awestruck. Jennifer's parents divorced at the age of 5 years young. Jennifer was a resident of British Columbia for most of her childhood following the divorce of her mother, along with the other four children moved there. Jennifer was, despite having developed into an exceptionally talented young woman however, she was not the most educated person. The time she spent in Canadian schools led to her being often the target of bullying. As she entered high school, her enthusiasm for theater started to diminish. In order to combat this, her mom helped her to be an extra in several plays. Her mother inspired all of her children to acquire an interest in the arts. She then began to take steps.
