Yael Stone

Stone was born and was raised on the streets of Sydney, Australia, where she went to in the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts and The National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). Stone began acting when she was only a small child. She was in the roles of Me Myself and The Farm. She worked primarily in stage productions. At the 2008 Sydney Theatre Awards, she received awards for Best Newcomer and Best Supporting Actress, for her role in The Kid. Apart from her role in theatre, she's been on TV with supporting roles, such as All Saints or Spirited. In 2010 she was a part of the year 2011 on The Diary of a Madman. As a result of this role she was nominated for the Sydney Theatre Awards for Best Supporting Actress. The Diary of a Madman was performed by the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York. In March 2011, she returned to Sydney to play the leading characters for A Golem Story (a story about the life of a golem), Summer of the Seventeenth Doll as well as As You Like It.
